Partners in Mystery

I came to this mysterious land six months, two days and eight hours ago. It might sound as if I counted the time because I couldn’t wait any longer to go home, but the reality is that I might be stuck here for way longer. The primary intention was to come and visit my dear friend, who step by step became my partner in mystery. You see, the land where we are living now (hopefully, now is not going to last forever) is full of mysteries. I don’t know how many of us believe in magic but we two see hidden messages on every single corner. And I am not talking about fairies, werewolves or even gnomes (who, by the way, seem to like European climate way more). This time you’re not going to hear all the story, but it’s enough to say that an unknown land always has a secret face that you can notice only after solving some hidden puzzles. You want to ask who hid them. If you think better, you should figure out the right answer by yourself.

The same powerful hand, which is guiding us during our walks in the daily labyrinth of mysteries, has blessed my partner with an analytic mind and me with a vivid imagination. We join them together and thus notice a lot more than those who don’t see beyond the end of their nose.

And there is one more important thing to mention – my partner and I are crazy about good coffee and palatable food. Because of that it’s not a coincidence that most of the mysteries we run into at cafes and during our lunches/dinners or while cooking. We would love if there were more people who would join us in this journey, but keep in mind – your personal mysteries are waiting for you just around the corner!

P. s. This is the first puzzle that we need your help with.

P. p. s. Seems too easy? Wait till the next time and we will see!

Puzzle No 1. Meeting in a café

Three friends decided to catch up in a local café. They had several different ideas where to meet. Read the statements and guess what they decided.

  1. I would love to go to Coffee Inn but LB & Co Espresso also sound good.
  2. If you want to visit Theobroma Chocolate Lounge or Coffee Culture, I’m not coming.
  3. I agree with A but Coffee Inn might be too far away. B should rethink the choice because Theobroma Chocolate Lounge sells nice chocolate.
